Terms of Service

Last updated: May 28, 2026

Acceptance

These Terms govern your access to and use of the Scrap Bridge platform. By creating an account, requesting access, or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company.

Accounts

You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for any activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@scrap-bridge.com if you suspect unauthorized access. Accounts are intended for business use by mills, scrap dealers, carriers, and their authorized personnel.

Acceptable use

  • Do not interfere with the platform, attempt to bypass tenant isolation, or access data you are not authorized to view.
  • Do not submit false counterparty information, fraudulent freight bids, or fabricated weight tickets.
  • Do not use the platform to send unsolicited commercial messages of any kind.
  • Comply with applicable laws, export controls, and sanctions.

SMS messaging

SMS is opt-in only. By providing a mobile number and checking the SMS consent box on our carrier access form, you agree to receive operational SMS from Scrap Bridge about freight RFQs you are eligible for and loads you are awarded — including pickup confirmations, delivery alerts, and weight-ticket reminders. We do not send marketing or promotional SMS.

Message frequency varies with load activity assigned to you — typically 0–10 messages per week. Message & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact support@scrap-bridge.com. Mobile carriers (T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, etc.) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Supported carriers include all major U.S. wireless networks. We do not guarantee message delivery in areas without cellular coverage or for numbers that have changed providers without forwarding. The mobile phone number you provide is used solely to deliver the operational messages described above and is not shared, sold, or rented to third parties for marketing.

Content + data

You retain ownership of the operational data you submit (demands, offers, orders, etc.). You grant Scrap Bridge a non-exclusive license to host, process, and display that data as necessary to operate the service. We may use aggregated, de-identified data to improve the platform.

Fees

Pricing for paid use of the platform is communicated separately in an order form or master subscription agreement. The marketing site, public market feed, request-access flows, and SMS notification surfaces are free.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, or risk to other users. You may close your account at any time by contacting us; we will retain records as required for legal and audit purposes.

Disclaimers

The platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Scrap Bridge is a coordination tool; it is not a party to any transaction between mills, dealers, or carriers, and is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of the materials, freight, or payments exchanged.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scrap Bridge’s aggregate liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars, whichever is greater.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Exclusive jurisdiction lies in the state and federal courts located in Delaware.

Changes

We may revise these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
